To achieve this the Investment Manager firstly adopts a set criteria to screen potential securities from the universe of all publicly listed companies. The quantitative criteria have been developed by the Investment Manager through an extensive period of investing in the markets and the screening process focuses on:
Proven revenue growth and potential to grow ahead of the market
Stable/growing profit margin
Strong balance sheet
Focus on “Return on Equity” (a measure of the profitability of a business in relation to shareholder’s equity)
Secondly, a qualitative review is undertaken by the Investment Manager of the companies’ individual business plans which further aids the choice of certain stocks over others.
Finally, based on the information gleaned from stages one and two the Investment Manager models the projected returns of selected companies and constitutes a portfolio of between 18-30 companies which represent the Investment Manager’s “highest conviction” stock.
Sixteen02 Global Equities UCITS Fund seeks to compound capital over the long term by allocating capital to the best of breed companies listed globally. We believe time is our ally.
The strategy is global, long only and concentrated with a holding of 18-30 stocks at any time.
