The fund is a global equity fund with roughly half of the portfolio in a concentrated basket (between 10 -30 positions) of stocks selected from either the US, European, UK and/or Japanese markets while seeking to boost equity exposure using sector and/or market ETF trading, or limit it using exchange traded index futures, for the other half of the portfolio.
It is through Collidr’s specialised risk system ARES™, however, where this fund differentiates itself and seeks to add value. This tool helps to manage risk – namely, the systematic control of entry and leverage points – using leading-edge regime detection capabilities. It is through this system of rules-based discipline with human oversight which gives the fund its edge – applying daily systematic regime signals to control overall market exposure and increase or decrease market and/or sector exposure.
Over a longer-term investment horizon, the fund’s objective is to generate positive returns, particularly over a full market cycle.
Designed for investors who are willing to take equity risk and want to achieve capital appreciation over the full market cycle.
Portfolio composition – a global equity fund that holds a portion of the portfolio in a concentrated basket of equities from the US, European, UK and Japanese markets, while equally holding a basket of market and/or sector ETFs, including exchange traded index futures, used to leverage or reduce equity exposure.
ARES – Collidr’s proprietary risk management system, dynamically provided signals, amongst other aspects, on the overall level of market exposure that the fund takes. It is through this system, of allowing the fund to take on market risk in rallies and hedging during downturns, which gives the fund its edge.
